TDC - Ascenders Event Poster

Type Directors Club is (based in NYC) hosts annual type design competitions, traveling exhibitions, and professional development conferences. This poster was designed for their annual competition called "Ascenders" I was randomly assigned the letter "J" to design for the visual of the poster. The “J” was embroidered by hand into a denim pocket. Then the product I made was photographed, and then incorporatedand into my poster design. The denim is a subtle nod to NYC fashion and street style.
